Welcome to IH Manchester! This weekly study plan for an advanced English course outlines Monday’s lesson aims, topics, and assigned pages for both class time and coursework unit.

Introduction to Online Classes

Getting your IH Manchester Email

1. Go to Office 365 and click ‘Sign in’.

2. Write your IH Manchester username and click ‘Next’.

3. Write your IH Manchester temporary password and click ‘Sign in’.

How to Use Microsoft Teams – Group Classes

How to use Microsoft Teams – Individual Classes

In Office 365, click on this square.

2. Now, click on ‘Teams’.

3. Click ‘Get the Windows App’ to download the Teams app.
or
Click on ‘Use the web app instead’ to use Teams in your browser.

4. Write your IH Manchester username and your new password, and click ‘Sign in’.

Your Weekly Study Plan

Choose your class.

2. Click on ‘Weekly Study Plan’ and ‘File’
Click on your Weekly Study Plan for this week.

Your Class Whiteboards

1.To see your class whiteboard, click on ‘Whiteboards’, ‘files’, and click on this week.

2. Click on the whiteboard you want to see.

3. Go down and find the day for your lesson.

Your teacher will use the whiteboards in all your lessons.

How to get your General English Course Book

Go to online.vitalsource.com and click ‘Sign in’.

2. Write your name and you IH Manchester email.
Create your own password.
Tick this box.
Click on ‘Create’

3. Bookshelf will send you an email to confirm your account.

4. Go to ‘Outlook’ to open your email.

5. Open the email from Bookshelf and click ‘Confirm your email’.

6. Write your IH email and Bookshelf password.

7.You are now in Bookshelf!
Now, contact IH. We will give you the code to get your course book. Call or WhatsApp on +44 7455 563 392.

8. Click on ‘Redeem Codes’ and enter your code.

How to get your IELTS Course Book

Go to www.bookshelf.cambridge.org, click ‘sign up’ and create an account.

You are now in Bookshelf! Contact IH Manchester. We will give you the code to get your coursebook.
Call or WhatsApp on +44 7455 563 392.
Then, click on “Enter Access Code”, put in your code and click Activate.
Welcome to IH Manchester—a digital library interface featuring English language learning textbooks, including Cambridge English titles and sample eBooks, all sorted by title from A to Z.

Additional IELTS Material

Go to www.cambridgelms.org, click ‘Register’ and create an account.

You are now in My Learning!
Contact IH Manchester. We will give you the code to get your extra material.
