Información sobre el acuerdo de licencia de ocupación y el depósito por daños

Las residencias no son propiedad de IH Manchester ni están gestionadas por este. Es fundamental que los estudiantes lean el manual de la residencia antes de su llegada para familiarizarse con las normas de la misma.

Llegada – Su habitación estará disponible a partir de las 15:00 horas del día de llegada.

Partida – deberá desocupar su habitación antes de las 11:00 horas del día de salida

Nature of Agreement This is a Licence to Occupy, not a tenancy agreement. It gives the student permission to occupy a room in shared student accommodation on a temporary basis, with the understanding that IH Manchester and/or the residence provider retain the right of access for maintenance, safety checks, and other reasonable purposes. The student does not have exclusive possession of the accommodation.

IH Manchester y la residencia se reservan el derecho de rescindir esta Licencia de Ocupación inmediatamente si el estudiante incumple las normas de la residencia o se comporta de forma inaceptable. En estos casos, no se reembolsarán las tasas y IH Manchester no estará obligado a buscar alojamiento alternativo.

Damage Deposit – A refundable deposit is required to cover any potential damage or excessive cleaning. The damage deposit will be held securely by IH Manchester, and deductions may be made for damages in line with the conditions stated below.

1. The Licensee will be responsible for covering the cost of damages if it exceeds the amount of the deposit.

2. The Licensee agrees that IH Manchester may securely retain the Licensee’s card details (via Stripe) and deduct any additional costs if necessary.

Application of Damage Charges During License Period – The Licensee is responsible for charges related to damage caused by them or their guests. IH Manchester will notify the Licensee in writing of any charges and may deduct the amount from the deposit or request immediate payment.

Insurance – We strongly advise Licensees to obtain personal contents insurance, as IH Manchester does not provide cover for personal belongings or damage costs.
