There are lots of fantastic things going on in Manchester to celebrate Chinese New Year,

Chinatown Celebrations

Chinatown – 24th – 26th January 2020

Live performances, food, stalls and funfair.

The Dragon Parade

St Peter’s Square – 12.30 – 14.00, 26th January 2020 

Follow the 175ft Chinese dragon from St Peter’s school to Chinatown as it is accompanied by lion and ribbon dancers and Chinese Opera performers

Giant Golden Dragon

St Ann’s Square, 10.00 – 18.00, 25th – 26th January 2020

Visit the giant glittering 50ft dragon in St Ann’s square!  Fantastic for photos, it’s not every day you can have a photo with a 50ft golden dragon!
